All About Me
Wow! What a change 8 years can make! That's the amount of time I have been at New World!
From classroom teacher, to starting the STEM program, to Reading Coach, back to classroom teacher. Since I was a little girl, I had always wanted to be a teacher and so received my Bachelors of Arts in Education at Arizona State University in 2001. After that I went on to teach over the next 20 years! I went on to receive my Master's of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Phoenix in 2021.
I had occasionaly played with the idea of being an Administrator, but after teaching for so long in 3 different districts, I saw things I wished were handled differently, and so slowly thought about being an Administrator more. Once I joined the New World family, I started to see all the things I wished for in a school, so when I was asked to be Vice Principal at New World, I couldn't say no!
