All About Me
As a proud Phoenician, I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Ever since I was younger I wanted to be in Education. I graduated from Cortez High School before earning my Bachelor’s in Education from Arizona State University in 2001. It was in 2015 that I joined the New World family as a teacher and later introduced the STEM program.
After spending 20 years as a teacher, I recognized the need for greater improvements in our education system, both for students and educators. This passion led me to pursue a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction in 2021.
Then in 2023, after receiving the Teacher of the Year reward for New World, I was given the opportunity to move into Administration. It was then that I went back to school to receive my second Masters in Educational Leadership in January 2025.
When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my son and family and hope to travel more, especially anywhere there's a beach. I also love to hike, read, and listen to music.
With my years of experience across various roles and schools, I am confident that I have the knowledge, skills, and dedication needed to serve as your principal. I look forward to working together to make New World Educational Center an inspiring and supportive place for all students!
