Dress Code Reminder
Parents and students, we ask that you please read the School Dress Code Policy. This month Mr. Armenta will be reminding the students and parents that all are to follow this policy. You can find this policy on our school website under Students or Parents and under Student Handbook. We will also send it out in our Wednesday Folder Reminders so that it is easier to access and read. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Principal’s Corner:
Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
We would like to remind everyone that our school website and ClassDojo is a wonderful way to stay in- formed at New World and build communication with teachers and staff. We ask EVERYONE, parents and students, to download the ClassDojo app to stay informed. We plan on sending out information through ClassDojo, student G-Mail accounts and social media (Facebook and Instagram). This means that you will see LESS paper handouts on Wednesdays.
As you all know, we always depend on our parents for support. Our school has maintained itself throughout the years because of the great comments we get from our parents and students. Make sure to mark your calendars to attend our monthly Parent Meetings every first Wednesday of the month at 9:00 am. The topics that are discussed at each meeting allow our parents to be informed and how they can make our school more successful.
At New World, we believe that parents and staff should work hand in hand. Many believe that it is the school’s responsibility to make the students learn. We have seen that when parents are truly involved and play active roles in making the school succeed, the students shine. This year we look forward to working closely with all our students and families.

Accepting Tax-Credit Donations
Tax Credit donations are being accepted NOW! This type of donation is very beneficial to the school and helps the person donating. The credit is applied against the taxpayer’s Arizona state income tax. The funds are used for “extracurricular activities” that are defined as …“school-sponsored educational activities that require enrolled students to pay a fee to participate.” For example, field trips, after school activities, etc. It is not a requirement that the taxpayer have a child enrolled in the public school. The credit is limited to $400 for married couples filing jointly, $200 for married couples filing separately, or $200 for single individuals or heads of household.
