Dear Parents and Students,
The first day of school is just around the corner and we know you are very excited to come back. We want you to be prepared so we are sending you information that is important for you to do just that. Please make sure to read this entire newsletter since there are some changes that some of you may not be used to.
Open House will be on Friday, July 28th, 2023 from 8:00am to 4:00pm, this is a good time to get to know where your child’s classroom is and get more information for the first day of school. Curriculum Night is on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm where families can get to know the teacher and their academic expectations for the school year. There will be important paperwork that will need to be filled out and handouts to help have a successful school year.
Please note that each student will receive 2 uniform shirts at no cost. All shirts after that there is a cost of $14 for the youth size and $15 for the adults sizes. Uniforms will be available starting Wednesday, July 26th, 2023. Students may still use uniform shirts from prior years.
Schools are always in need of your support! In order for our school to maintain funds for this school year we need our enrollment to be at 215 students or more, but we are currently at 200 students. With your help this is possible by referring families to the school. Parents fall in love with our school as soon as they step foot on campus so please encourage them to visit and tour the school. There is room in every grade, but we are especially looking to fill our middle school grade (6th-8th grades). Thank you for your support!
We want to welcome our new families to NWEC! We appreciate you and look forward to becoming part of OUR family. Keep an eye out for our B.E. program that encourages our students to set high expectations for their academics. See you soon!
Sincerely,
Jesus Armenta
Principal
