Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
As the year 2023 comes to an end we start to think of how to plan for 2024. This school year has been challenging but we are persevering because we are all working together. Please stay informed on how you can continually help at our school. We would like to mention some important things about school as you prepare to return to school on Monday, January 8th, 2024:
- Volunteer: Please come to our Parent Meetings every Wednesday to find out ways on how you can help! Thank you for always supporting our school.
- Tax Credit Donation: Included with this Newsletter, is a tax credit donation form. If you are unable to donate, encourage OTHERS to do so. Visit our webpage (www.nweccharter.org) to donate through our website or email us at [email protected]
- Help your children! It is important that children read and practice math facts and skills during the break. Please visit our website for ideas or search for some on your own.
- Stay informed: Download the SCHOOL NEWS app today! It’s free and you get access to our school website and notices.
- Parent/Student Review: Please go to Google, Greatschools.org, and our Social Media and write a review to tell others of how great our school is. This helps to attract good families.
Please continue to encourage other families to bring their children here. Great families are always welcome. Keeping our “family feel” environment is possible because of the people that are referred to us. And remember we are an “B” SCHOOL which makes a High Performing school
Thank you,
Mr. Armenta
Principal

Walk-a-Thon Information
On December 21st (Thursday) our Walk-a-thon will start at 9am. This is one of the biggest and most successful fundraising events. Thank you parents for helping your child find sponsors. The goal is to at least have 10 sponsors giving 25 cents per lap. If all the students get to this goal it will help us reach $5000. I am giving prizes to the classes that raise the most money, but also prizes to the individuals that raise the most. I did mention to the students that if they raised $10,000 I would be kissing a goat. So this is attainable if the sponsors give at least 50 cents or more per lap.
There is also an option for a Business to “match” the students' grand total raised. For example, if the student raises $25, the business would match that amount and donate $25, which would double it to $50! Thank you again for your support! Parents are also welcome to walk and help raise money, we have additional forms in the office.
