Dear NWEC Families and Students,
It is with a mix of emotions that I share some important news—I will be transitioning into a new professional opportunity after serving as Principal of New World Educational Center for the past 16 years. While I am excited for this new chapter, I am also deeply saddened to be leaving in the middle of the school year. NWEC has been my home, and each of you—students, parents, and staff—have been a cherished part of my journey.
I want to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible memories we have created together. Watching our students grow, learn, and succeed has been the greatest privilege of my career. The warmth and support of this community have made my job truly enjoyable, and I will forever treasure the relationships built along the way.
I leave knowing that NWEC is in the capable hands of an outstanding Admin Team and dedicated school staff. They are a talented, passionate group of leaders who will continue to guide the school with excellence, and I have complete confidence in their ability to ensure a smooth transition.
Though my role will be changing, my commitment to NWEC remains strong. I am honored to continue supporting the school as a new member of the School Board, and I will always be here to cheer on our students and staff. I ask that you confide in the Admin Team who is Ms. Lisa Smith (Principal), Mrs. Brenda Martinez (Dean of Students), and Mrs. Yvonne Sandidge (Director of Compliance/HR).
Thank you for your trust, kindness, and the many wonderful moments we have shared. NWEC will always hold a special place in my heart, and I look forward to staying connected in this new capacity.
With gratitude and appreciation,
Jesus Armenta
